Ishq Khuda (Urdu: عشق خدا; translated: Love is God) is an 2013 Punjabi language Pakistani romantic film directed by Shahzad Rafique. It stars Shaan Shahid, Meera, Saima, Ahsan Khan and Moroccan actress Wiam Dahmani. It is produced by Shafquat Chaudhry. Adeel pk is signed to edit the movie. The music of the film is composed by Wajahat Attray while lyrics are penned by Riaz ur Rehman Sagar. The film was released on August 9, 2013 and was declared successful at the box-office.
Production
The production of the film has recently began in Beautiful Locations of Mianwali and Village Khoora of the beautiful Soon Valley, (District Khushab). Among all actors, onlyMeera and Ahsan Khan have attended the shooting while rest of the actors will join the shoot later. It is reported that in the first phase of shoot, only songs will be captured. The budget of the film is 2.5 crores.
Music
The Music of the film is composed by Pakistan's popular music director Wajahat Attray. The lyrics of the songs are written by Riaz ur Rehman Sagar. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shazia Manzoor and Sanam Marvi will sing all the songs for the film.
Story
The story is a love triangle between Ahsan Khan, Meera and Wiam Dahmani. Shaan Shahid plays an ex-criminal turned Sufi preacher, whilst actress Saima plays his love interest in the film.
Release
The film was released on August 9, 2013 across Pakistan. It was released with 35 prints which was a record especially for a Punjabi Film. The film had 90-95% occupancy rate at the first three days of its release.After the festive occasion of Eid was over , the film continued pulling crowd in large numbers and the occupancy was 75 to 80% at single scree cinemas across Punjab. The film colleted 1 crore PKR in a span of 6 days. The film had a total run of one and a half month and was declared 'Super-Hit' by Box Office , Pakistan.
